The Parks and
Recreation Department is working on plans for North Lauderdale Days 2008. This year’s 45th Anniversary event
is planned for the weekend of Friday, May 2nd through Saturday, May

As in past years, N.L.
Days will feature two stages, (one on field 4 and one in the parking lot). The event will feature musical entertainment
by both professional and amateur groups, school groups and some community
participation including a fireworks show on Saturday evening. The event is budgeted at $58,000 and we are
looking at some options that can help us reduce the event cost. We
look forward to sharing the final plans for North Lauderdale Days 2008 with the
Commission by early March.
One of the main attractions
of North Lauderdale Days is the wide variety of music that is offered throughout
the weekend. For the past 9+ years, the
City has used Style Entertainment to provide the event music and sound
equipment. Style Entertainment is used

As in past years, the

Multi-Cultural Committee, local Schools, Parks and Recreation Board and
interested resident groups within the City.
