SUBJECT:     City Special Events Dates

 

The Parks and Recreation Department has set the following event dates for the late winter/early spring months and we invite the Commissioners and their family to participate in these fun community events.  Please block these dates off now on your calendars. 

 

As always, we will share additional information with you on these events as they approach.

 

·        Saturday, March 8th, 2008 – 1:30 PM – Aquatic Center Splash Area Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Underwater Egg Hunt – Aquatic Center.  This event is not being funded by the City’s General Fund, all funds used for this event are from the City’s Recreation 171 Fund.

 

·        Saturday, March 15th, 2008 - 10:00 AM – Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt.  Jack Brady Sports Complex.  This event is not being funded by the City’s General Fund, all funds used for this event are from the City’s Recreation 171 Fund.

 

·        Saturday, April 5th, 2008 – 10:00 AM – Youth Baseball Opening Day and Dedication of Carl Fusco Park and Jack Brady Sports Complex – Jack Brady Sports Complex – Field 2.

 

·        Friday, April 11th, 2008 – 7:00 PM – Adult Cricket Program Awards Ceremony – Jack Brady Sports Complex – Field 3.
