As the City Commission is aware, as part of the Neighborhood Improvement
Plan (NIP) developed by
In order to take over the maintenance responsibilities, the City is
required to enter into two separate agreements with Broward County for i) Traffic-Ways
Beautification Agreement and ii) Traffic-Ways Illumination Agreement. Attached for your review and approval are the
two agreements. The City Attorney’s
Office has already reviewed and approved these documents.
The County will be submitting appropriate insurance certificates naming
the City as an additional insured party so that the City is covered for any

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
Section 1: That the City Manager and City Attorney,
are hereby authorized to enter into the following Bailey Road Maintenance
agreements with
i) Traffic-Ways Beautification Agreement
ii) Traffic-Ways Illumination Agreements
Section 2: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
