Subject: Information Technology Surplus
Equipment for City Auction
In preparation for the City’s upcoming auction, the Information Technology Division would like to have the outdated equipment declared surplus and placed in the City-wide Surplus Equipment Auction. The following equipment listed in Section 1 has exceeded its useful lifespan and is no longer needed.
This surplus equipment comes from a combination of City and School inventories. Warranty for most equipment cannot be extended beyond four years and the equipment in Section 1 is four years old or more.
Recommendation:
The City Administration recommends Commission’s consideration and approval of the attached resolution authorizing the surplus of twenty five (25) PC’s, twenty five (25) Monitors, twenty three (23) Printers, six (6) Servers and thirteen (13) Miscellaneous Peripheral Devices listed below from the Information Technology/Finance Inventory to be auctioned at the next City auction.
