PROCLAMATION

 

 

Whereas, Lou Cavallo started his law enforcement career as a Cadet, and was hired by the City of North Lauderdale on December 19, 1977 and has served the City of North Lauderdale for 33 years; and

 

Whereas, Lou Cavallo rose through the ranks of the police force, ultimately serving as the Broward Sheriff’s Office Division Chief for the City of North Lauderdale; and

 

Whereas, Chief Cavallo served with honor and distinction as the City’s police chief for 6 years; and

 

Whereas, since joining the North Lauderdale Police Department in 1977, Chief Lou Cavallo has continuously served the City of North Lauderdale faithfully with dedication and integrity; and

 

Whereas, Chief Cavallo has recently been promoted by Broward Sheriff’s Office to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and will be leaving the City of North Lauderdale to advance his law enforcement career; and

 

Whereas, the City of North Lauderdale acknowledges Chief Cavallo’s many outstanding achievements over the years as well as his tireless dedication to the City and its residents; and

 

Whereas, in honor of his most recent promotion, and with best wishes for his continued success and achievements, the Mayor and City Commission does hereby proclaim, Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 as

 

LOU CAVALLO APPRECIATION DAY
