Commissioner Gary Frankel
Commissioner
Gary Frankel, is a licensed real estate associate and a full
time Commissioner. He's a graduate of New York Institute of
Technology with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business
Administration. Commissioner Frankel is single. He has served
on the North Lauderdale City Commission in District A since
1992.
He has served three terms as Mayor and served
three times as Vice Mayor. Commissioner Frankel is a member
of the Florida League of Cities, the Broward League of Cities
and a former member of the Jaycees. When Commissioner Frankel
first won elected office, his goal was to make a part-time
job into a full-time commitment by serving all the residents
of North Lauderdale. After 14 years, he continues the philosophy
of working full time as a public servant.
