SHARK SWIM HEAD COACH HIRED
North
Lauderdale,
February 14th, 2008 – The City of North Lauderdale Parks and
Recreation Department has named Mr. Alex Bonilla Head Coach of the newly
created North Lauderdale/Tamarac Shark Swim Team. Mr. Bonilla will also be
serving as a life guard and swim instructor at the North Lauderdale Aquatic
Center.
Mr. Bonilla is
a Boston native that attended Silver Lakes
Middle School in North
Lauderdale and Coconut
Creek High
School. Prior to taking the Head Coaching
position with the Sharks, Mr. Bonilla was employed by the Department of
Conservation & Recreation in Boston
and the YMCA of Greater Boston as Aquatic Director, Swim Instructor and
Assistant Swim Team Coach. Mr. Bonilla
is working on his BA in business administration with a concentration in
marketing.
