The Streets Division is responsible for the maintenance
of 62 miles of roadway, 95 miles of sidewalks, 12.05 acres of medians and landscaped
areas, and rights-of-way throughout the city.
The employees in this
division cut grass, maintain landscape, install and maintain irrigation systems
in the medians, repair and restore concrete, repair and restore asphalt, install
new sidewalks, pickup trash in the rights-of-way, special projects, and other
related tasks.
