Mission
The mission of the Community Development Department is to enhance the quality of life while protecting the health, safety and welfare of City residents through a comprehensive planning, development and code enforcement program.

The Community Development Department has six divisions that provide municipal services in the areas of Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement, Occupational Licenses, Building Permits, Neighborhood Planning and Economic Development.
