Finance Department

The Finance Department is the City's largest support department comprising of budget, payables/receivables, general accounting, grant writing, payroll and Information Technology. The department is responsible for providing operational, administrative and financial assistance to management, elected officials and the citizens of North Lauderdale.

The Finance Department is committed to excellence in budget reporting. The department's continued goal is to provide the highest standards in financial and management services through the development and implementation of sound planning, policies, procedures and practices. For more than 25 years, members of the Finance Department have received the Distinguished Budget Presentation or Certificate of Acheivement for Excellence in Financial Reporting awards from the Government Financial Officers Association.
