A Message from the Fire Chief

I’d like to welcome you to the City of North Lauderdale’s Fire/Rescue web page.

Every day – 24 hours a day – fire department personnel are on the job to serve the citizens of North Lauderdale.  We stand ready regardless of your emergency – structure fires, medical emergencies, hazardous material responses, vehicle extrication, etc.  Our personnel are fully qualified and receive training regularly to ensure new technologies are incorporated into our operations.

Under the leadership of our medical director, Dr. Tony Gandia, the Fire Department continues to receive accolades and recognition for their exceptional first responder medical care.

The support residents continually show the Fire Department is heartwarming and greatly appreciated.  The outpouring of support lets me know our personnel are providing the kind of care and concern you deserve. Our commitment is to provide first-rate customer service on each and every call we respond to.

I welcome your comments and suggestions in order to keep improving the service we provide.

MISSION STATEMENT
To provide superior Fire and Rescue Service to all residents and visitors of North Lauderdale Florida. To help to alleviate pain and suffering. To guarantee the best environment, training and equipment to our firefighters and emergency medical responders to perform their job safely and efficiently. To Maintain Pride, Strive for Integrity, with a Commitment to Serve.

Warmest regards,

Chief Rodney Turpel
