BECCA - Broward Emergency Critical Care Assistance

BECCA link

The BECCA Program provides parents and caregivers a tool to store the most accurate up-to-date information regarding their child's medical history and other critical information. This way, if a parent or caregiver is faced with a situation where 911 is called and medical assistance is necessary, there would be no concern about giving the wrong information to paramedics. Simply present your previously completed BECCA Program form to the medical professionals when they arrive and feel confident knowing that they will have all the important medical details concerning your loved ones. The BECCA Program form was created by EMT's for EMT's to treat medically involved children… from the most basic to the most complex cases utilizing up to date medical information.

The BECCA Program is not only for parents and caregivers, but it can also be a valuable tool for...

  • Schools
  • Daycare
  • Aftercare
  • Camps
  • Organizations that provide services for children
As well as anyone who feels they could benefit from it!

We know that The BECCA Program can be a valuable tool for EMS and medical professionals to provide the best possible care for the children they serve in our community… If you know someone who may benefit from the BECCA Program, share this invaluable new tool with their parents or caregiver. You may save a life!
