Intermittent
Road Closure
On Bailey Road
Residents of the
Broadview Pompano Park area should be aware that
Broward County has hired a contractor to replace
some waterlines in the Bailey Road vicinity in preparation
of the widening project that is scheduled to take
place in mid 2010.
There will be intermittent closures of Bailey Road
during the next few months. Residents need to be
aware of this and plan alternate routes as these
closures occur.

Broward Sheriff’s Office and be part of the Community
Citizen
Observer Patrol (COP’s)
Must
be 18 years of age or older, have a clean criminal
history and a valid drivers license. This volunteer
program is made up of citizens who wish to avail
themselves in assisting deputies in attempting to
reduce criminal activity and improve the quality
of life within their respective neighborhoods. Volunteers
are provided uniforms, patrol vehicles, a cell phone,
and other equipment. Volunteers become the eyes
and ears of the community and are trained on various
methods of patrol. Volunteers are also used in community
events such as parades, city celebrations, and crime
prevention initiatives.

of Life© program to all its residents AT NO COST.
The Vial of Life program is a means to provide this
essential information to our fire rescue paramedics

In response to improved regional water resource conditions,
the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD)
modified emergency water restrictions across most
of the agency's 16-county region, transitioning from
one-day-week landscape irrigation restrictions to
two-day-a-week watering.
