The City of North Lauderdale incorporated in 1963, encompasses an area of 5 square miles located just south of Coral Springs with a population of 41,000. Our City is a full service community offering County police service & Fire/Rescue protection, Public Works, Water & Sewer Utilities, Community Development, Code Enforcement and outstanding Parks & Recreation services.

In response to improved regional water resource conditions, the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) modified emergency water restrictions across most of the agency's 16-county region, transitioning from one-day-week landscape irrigation restrictions to two-day-a-week watering.

Shark Swim Head Coach Hired
The City of North Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department has named Mr. Alex Bonilla Head Coach of the newly created North Lauderdale/Tamarac Shark Swim Team. Mr. Bonilla will also be serving as a life guard and swim instructor at the North Lauderdale Aquatic Center.

Vendors Needed For NL Days
Vendor applications are available in the Teen Recreation Center, 701 SW 71st Avenue, Monday through Friday from 9 am -9 pm and the Pompano Park Recreation Center, Corner of Bailey Road and State Road 7, Monday through Friday from Noon to 9 pm or by calling 954-724-7061. Vendors are needed in all areas (Arts and Crafts, Public Information, Novelty Sales and Food Vendors. The cost for a space for Arts and Craft Vendors is $15 with a selling time from Noon until 7:00 PM and $75 for Food Vendors who can sell from Noon until 10:30 PM. Space is limited so register early.

 

 

 

 

Counselor In Training Academy
The City of North Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a Free Counselor In Training Academy for 14 year olds interested in becoming a Counselor in Training and or a Camp Counselor with the City of North Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department. More

North Lauderdale Days Cricket Tournament
The City of North Lauderdale Parks
and Recreation Department will be holding an adult Cricket Tournament on Friday April 18th from 7pm – 11pm at the Jack Brady Sports Complex. More
Vial For Life Program
North Lauderdale Fire Rescue is offering the Vial of Life© program to all its residents AT NO COST. 
The Vial of Life program is a means to provide this essential information to our fire rescue paramedics and ultimately the doctors and nurses at the emergency room. Click here for more information


3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
The City of North Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a 3 on 3 Adult Basketball Tournament in conjunction with North Lauderdale Days 2008 on Tuesday April 22nd at 7:00pm at the City of North Lauderdale Gym. More
